Hand wash in cool water with a small amount of pH-neutral, enzyme-free silk detergent. If the care label permits machine washing, turn the pillowcase inside out, place it in a fine mesh laundry bag, and use a cold, delicate cycle with low spin.
Do not use bleach, fabric softener, enzyme-based detergent, hot water, or harsh stain removers. Do not twist or wring wet silk.
Gently press out excess water with a clean towel, reshape, and air dry away from direct sunlight and heat.
